This design and build project of a two-storey facility comprised
changing rooms, showers, drying rooms and locker room, to provide
daily sports changing for almost 300 children on a visually
sensitive site, sandwiched between a swimming pool and a wooded
copse.
Design work was carried out by DPDS Consulting Group resulting in
a traditional construction with a reinforced slab, precast concrete
first floor and profiled sheet cladding roof. The external envelope
was a mixture of face brickwork, render and Siberian larch.
