The company also has Framework experience with a regional Housing Association on a long term contract.

Case Study

Kitchen Refurbishment

R J Leighfield have a partnering framework arrangement with Sovereign Housing Association to refurbish kitchens throughout their housing stock in order to bring them in line with the Decent Homes Standards.

The programmes are running at a level of 500 kitchens per year and the project employs approximately 30 people full time. Works include removing existing kitchen equipment, rewiring,
re-plastering as necessary, installing new kitchen units and worktops, redecorating and installing new vinyl flooring. In addition to this we also carry out the surveys on behalf of Sovereign three months prior to the works being done and conduct all the liaison with tenants.

Working closely with Sovereign, we have been able to produce efficiency savings from partnering and have been able to provide year on year savings to the project.
