Case Study

CO-OP Pioneer Store, Pewsey, Wiltshire

The site of a former Bus depot and garage. R J Leighfield appointed architects BBA to produce designs for a supermarket for the heart of Pewsey town centre. Working closely with the planners the final scheme is set into the natural contours of the site and includes a natural slate roof which fits in well with surrounding buildings. During the construction process the development was sold to the
Co-op who then worked closely with the Design and Build team in order that their exacting requirements were fulfilled. The finished project which includes a small cafe has now become a focal point for the local people of Pewsey.
