August 2008 - Tender Win For Phelps Parade Development In Calne.

Leighfield's have been awarded the Design & Build contract to re-develop Phelps Parade in Calne Town Centre. The works comprise the demolition of existing residential and retail units, and the construction of 16 flats and two retail units. Demolition works are due to start late August 2008 with completion planned for Autumn 2009.

August 2008 - R J Leighfield's 'Away Day'.

R J Leighfield 'Away Day' at Purton House near Swindon, was held to encourage employee participation, provide a better understanding of the company objectives and to share ideas through a series of workshops. By the end of the day all employees had a better knowledge of the company's activities, an understanding of the business plan and a greater feeling of being part of a team.

April 2008 - Thackerey Crescent Development In Melksham Now Completed.

Leighfield's have recently completed works at Thackerey Crescent in Melksham, which included the construction of 16 new houses, 4 flats and the conversion of an old school.

April 2008 - Tender Win For New Sports Facility At Pinewood School, Swindon.

R J Leighfield & Sons have won the tender to build a new sports facility at Pinewood School, Swindon. Construction work is due to start at the end of May 2008 and to complete by early summer 2009.

January 2008 - Investors In People Certificate Awarded.

Leighfield's have been awarded the Investors In People Commitment Certificate and plan to achieve full accreditation by early 2009.

October 2007 - Tender Win For A New Sports Pavilion At Calne.

R J Leighfield have won the design and build contract to build a new Sports Pavilion for Calne Town Council, and it's associated works (528 sq m). Works are due to start at the end of November 2007.

May 2007 - South Marston Development Nears Completion.

The first phase of R J Leighfield's £5m South Marston Development known as "The Pavilions" is nearing completion. The building offers 6400 sq ft of office space in a prime location in the South Marston Park, close to the A419.

February 2007 - Contract Win For West Wilts Housing Society.

R J Leighfield & Sons have been awarded a contract by West Wilts Housing Society to build 16 new houses, 4 flats and the conversion of an old school into 7 further flats. The contract is due for completion in the spring of 2008.
