We are committed to the protection of the environment and the delivery of sustainable buildings through the procedures and policies contained in our business management system. We understand our obligations and responsibilities under current legislation and will identify and determine the environmental issues specific to each and every contract before producing a site specific action plan.

We monitor and measure the carbon footprint of our business. Our monitoring system enables us to manage our construction processes to minimise our carbon footprint.

And in November 2014 we installed photovoltaic panels on the roof of our head office to help the company become greener and reduce energy bills.

We promote sustainable construction that is environmentally friendly through:

  • Responsible sourcing of suppliers and materials

  • Good design

  • Best value principles based on whole-life costs

  • Continual monitoring of construction activities to minimise environmental impact

  • Energy conservation

  • Minimising waste, pollution, noise and traffic

  • Use of sustainable construction techniques

  • Adoption of environmental standards such as BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes.
