Project Completed! A fantastic project taking existing training facilities from a grade D to C. Works consisting of a new club house building with extensions to the main stand, extensions and modifications to the existing covered seating, new turnstiles and modifications to existing fencing.

As we waved good bye to 2023 we saw the completion and handover of our site in Royal Wootton Bassett for RWB Auctions. Taking this large existing supermarket and turning it into a smart, sophisticated auction house has been a pleasure. It's a job we're incredibly proud to have sitting in our home town. All of us at Leighfields wish Max, Jon, Steve and everyone else involved all the very best in their new home.
December 2023
Excellent progress is being made on site in Wheatley for Soha Housing. The site has now really started to take shape with the foundations complete and blockwork well underway.
Excellent progress at the site in Winklebury as well for Basron Developments Ltd & Basingstoke Town Football Club with the roof cladding now complete, the scaffold dropped and the internals really taking shape.
We'd like to take this opportunity to wish our clients and contractors a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2024.
November 2023
Some great progress being made on site in South Marston for Les Smith Haulage. The concrete pour for the main yard has commenced. A superb flagship home motoring towards completion.
October 2023
Progress is going well at the Basingstoke FC facilities. The newly installed drainage is well underway, and the final touches of the Club House structure are being finished off with the installation of the cold rolled steel. Next, we are preparing to move onto the substructure masonry. The stand enhancements have begun, both concrete pads have been poured and the South Stand amendments have started. The 6-Tier stand is in the progress of being replaced with a larger 8-Tier standing stand.
August 2023
Contract Awarded.
R J Leighfields have been successful in securing the contract to upgrade and enhance the existing training facilities for Basingstoke Football Club. Works comprise of a single storey extension to existing main stand and the construction of a new clubhouse with associated works.
July 2023
Works have been completed at our site of 10 houses in Oxford and handed over to our client Oxford City Housing.
June 2023
Contract Awarded.
Leighfields have been awarded the contract for the design and construction of a zero carbon development of 12nr dwellings in Wheatley, Oxford.
Works are also progressing well at the new flagship head office and depot for Les Smith Haulage in South Marston, with the steel frame being erected.

Contract Awarded.
An exciting appointment for R J Leighfield & Sons Ltd working with the local business RWB Auctions. The redevelopment of a former supermarket into a modern auction house consisting of two auction rooms, a cafe/bistro with an upstairs art gallery and roof terrace.

We’ve begun on site the construction of 10 three-bedroom houses, including associated drainage, external works and external services.

We’ve been appointed by Wishford Schools Group Ltd to complete refurbishment of the former care home into a 34 bed boarding house for Westonbirt School. It’s a 20 week project that involves strip out, layout changes, M&E works, redecoration and floor finishes throughout the building.

Arnett Avenue Handed over. This project comprised the design and build of 10 houses, 3 for shared ownership and 7 for rent, 36 flats of which 20 were shared ownership and 16 for rent.
